International Training Course
Department of Food Technology is organizing an international training course on the topic "The application of a parabolic greenhouse solar dryer together with raw material preparation techniques to extend shelf-life and enhance quality of agricultural products", supported by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), via online platform during 24 April – 5 May 2023.
New Lecturer
We welcome Dr. Khwanjai Klinchongkon as a new Lecturer at Department of Food Technology. She graduated in Food Technology from our department in 2008, specialized in extraction of bioactive compounds from agricultural sources. Currently Dr. Khwanjai is working with the extraction of protein from alternative sources such as insects.
Congratulations to our new Assistant Professor
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Pornsri Charoenpanich has been successfully promoted to Assistant Professor in Food Science and Technology.
New Lecturer
We welcome Dr. Parika Rungpichayapichet as a new Lecturer at Department of Food Technology. She graduated in Agricultural Science with specialization in post-harvest technology and non-destructive analysis with near-infrared spectroscopy.
International Alumni-Seminar
Congratulations to Asst. Prof. Dr. Busarakorn Mahayothee on being selected to join the DAAD International Alumni-Seminar "The Smarter E Europe 2020" in Germany.
JSPS Invitaional Fellowship
Congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pramote Khuwijitjaru on receiving 2020 Invitational Fellowship for Research in Japan (Short-term) from the JSPS.
Visiting research student
Mr. Benedikt Werner Hulsemann, a Ph.D. student from the University of Hohenheim came to stay at the department to conduct a research with Thai Ph.D. student during Jan 19 - March 1, 2020.
